The QUER seat supports protrude approx. 40 mm from the bench substructure at the front and rear and are screwed to the substructure from below so that no fastening screws are visible from above. All screws are of high quality stainless steel A2.

Fastening of the bench prepared for screwing to the floor, e.g. on a concrete base. Lugs are welded to the side of the bench for this purpose. Hole diameter ø14 mm, e.g. for M12 screws. Fixing material to be provided by the customer.

Corten steel with a stainless steel look will show a certain amount of rust removal of 0.05 mm of the surface, especially in the first few years. We therefore recommend planning the installation in such a way that this rust separation can run off in a defined manner and no discolouration occurs in the area of the objects.

When combining wooden and corten steel seat covers, the iron oxide adhering to the surface and the tannic acid present in the wood can cause dark grey and black discolouration of the wooden covers. This is a natural process in this combination and does not justify a complaint. With increasing natural greying of the wood, the grey spots that appear in advance disappear and the surface colour becomes similar.

Care instructions for wood:
All wood used outdoors greys within a few months and takes on the typical silvery appearance. It is possible to oil the wood with suitable wood preservative oil so that the greying of the wood is delayed. You can find more information on this on our homepage at www.gartenmetall.de
