to protect the rust layer of corten steel
Quantity: 980 ml
Air-drying, colourless natural oil with a high solids content, which is applied to the finished rust layer and seals it. The rust protection penetrates into the "deepest" pores of the open-pored rust surface and works from there.
The product is applied undiluted with a brush, roller or sprayer to a grease-free, clean and dry surface in a thin layer over the entire surface. Avoid direct sunlight.
Drying time: Dust-dry after 6 to 8 hours, fully dry after 12 to 24 hours. Further coats can be applied as required.
As with oiling and maintaining wood products, the coating must be checked regularly and, if necessary, the coating reapplied or supplemented depending on the weathering. This is the case when the surface no longer appears uniformly satin-matt.
It is suitable for application primarily on absorbent substrates. We do not recommend the application on bare sheet metal surfaces. The product is not suitable for use in areas constantly exposed to water (in well interiors).
The processing temperature should be between +5°C to +35°C.
Yield:
depending on the degree of rust 4 to 10 m² / litre.
